on Ezekiel 44:4-9

The prophet sees the glory filling the house and falls facedown again. Israel had brought in “foreigners uncircumcised in both heart and flesh” while offering “the fat and the blood,” and so broke His covenant. The command is exact: “No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh may enter My sanctuary.”

The charge to look and listen repeats 40:4, where the tour began, and now it turns from buildings to the people allowed inside. Entrances and exits become the subject. Who may pass through them is settled in verses 6 to 16.
