On this altar you must not offer unauthorized incense

on Exodus 30:9-10

Four things are forbidden here, and each belongs on the altar in the court, so the two altars keep separate work. The one exception is blood, which ties the gold altar to the yearly day of atonement Leviticus 16 sets out.
