Then the LORD said to Moses
on Exodus 30:22-25
The fourth speech gives the anointing oil, its weights reckoned “according to the sanctuary shekel” named at verse 13. The standard for the ransom money governs the perfumer as well. Every spice in the recipe reached the wilderness by trade, and Exodus 35:28 says the people brought them.
