on 2 Chronicles 9:26-28
Silver is “as common in Jerusalem as stones,” and horses come “from Egypt and from all the lands”. In 1 Kings the notice of horses from Egypt stands near the account of Solomon's fall. Chronicles carries the notice and tells no fall.

The same point stands at verse 20, where silver counted for nothing in the days of Solomon. Cedar became as plentiful as sycamore. Jamieson, Fausset and Brown judge that Solomon carried the Hebrew kingdom to its highest pitch of worldly glory.
