on Ezekiel 44:4-9
The prophet sees the glory filling the house and falls facedown again. Israel had brought in “foreigners uncircumcised in both heart and flesh” while offering “the fat and the blood,” and so broke His covenant. The command is exact: “No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh may enter My sanctuary.”

Matthew Henry reads the words as a call to count the time spent in sin as long enough. He joins it to 1 Peter 4:3. God names Israel the rebellious house, the title He gave them when He sent Ezekiel in 2:5 to 8.
