And again, in another prophecy, the Spirit of prophecy, through the same David, intimated that Christ, after He had been crucified, should reign, and spoke as follows: "Sing to the Lord, all the earth, and day by day declare His salvation. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, to be feared above all the gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols of devils; but God made the heavens. on 1 Chronicles 16:28-29

The call “Ascribe to the LORD” comes three times across these two verses. Verse 29 closes with “Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness”, a phrase found at 2 Chr 20:21, Ps 29:2 and Ps 96:9. At 2 Chr 20:21 the phrase goes out ahead of an army.

This site's exposition

bring an offering and come

The families of the nations are told to bring an offering and come before the LORD. Matthew Henry takes holiness as the beauty of the LORD and of every sanctified soul and act of worship. Justin Martyr quotes the call among David's words of prophecy.
