Iib. i., El. iv., ver. 15, shoots the whole process of the villany spoken of by Solomon: Cum premit ille torum, vultu comes ipsa modesto Ibis, ut accumbas: clam mihi tange pedem. Me specta, nutusque meos, vultum que loquacem Excipe furtivas, et refer ipsa, notas. Verba superciliis sine voce loquentia dicam Verba leges digitis, verba notata mero.

on Proverbs 6:12-15
The naughty person is drawn through body language before a single word of speech, winking eyes, feet that speak, fingers that teach, a whole vocabulary of signals used to deceive without ever committing to plain words. Frowardness in the heart is named as the source, and mischief and discord are named as the fruit, the same inside-to-outside order the chapter used earlier of the heart's issues. His judgment matches his method, calamity that comes suddenly on a man who spent his life in hidden signals, broken without remedy because no warning ever reached him in time.
