For in the Septuagint it is written: And it will be στενακτὴ, which means mournful. And in Theodotion it is added, καὶ δηλαἳστὴ; the meaning of this word is unknown to us. For this reason, three other interpreters have translated it as blasphemy, which is called Geddupha in Hebrew ().

Jerusalem will become “a ruin and a disgrace among the nations around you.” Four words name what she will be to her neighbors: “a reproach and a taunt, a warning and a horror.” The city set in the center of the nations in Ezekiel 5:5 becomes their warning.
