The hundred talents of silver were used to cast the bases
on Exodus 38:27-28
The atonement money went into the ground, 100 bases from 100 talents, ninety-six under the frames and four under the veil. The tent stands on the price paid for the counted men. Exodus 30:16 gave the money for the service of the Tent of Meeting, and here is that service.

Albert Barnes places these hooks, plated tops and bands on the posts of the courtyard, the fittings ordered at Exodus 27:10 and 27:17. The talents went under the tent and the remainder went out to the courtyard wall. Every shekel of the sum is assigned.
