The court is walled with cloth, a hundred cubits by fifty, and every hanging around it is plain white linen. Colour is held back for the gate alone in verse 18.

The north side repeats the south side of verses 9 and 10, a hundred cubits with twenty posts and twenty bases. Exodus 27:11 gave these numbers in the instruction. Jamieson, Fausset and Brown reckon the courtyard at about one hundred and fifty feet by seventy five.
