on Exodus 38:9-13
The court is walled with cloth, a hundred cubits by fifty, and every hanging around it is plain white linen. Colour is held back for the gate alone in verse 18.

The words toward the sunrise mark the side that held the only way in. Numbers 3:38 camps Moses, Aaron and his sons on this same side, in front of the Tent of Meeting. Exodus 27:13 gave the east side the same fifty cubits.
