on Exodus 38:9-13
The court is walled with cloth, a hundred cubits by fifty, and every hanging around it is plain white linen. Colour is held back for the gate alone in verse 18.

The west side was fifty cubits
The west side is half the length of the north and south, fifty cubits with ten posts and ten bases. Exodus 26:22 calls the west side the rear of the tabernacle. The courtyard's back wall ran behind the tent.
