Verse 31 adds a line Kings lacks: “Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him. God drew them away from him”. Barnes counts it among the Chronicler's additions, and Jehoshaphat turns to God the same way at 20:12, when he says Judah's eyes are on Him.
