I saw the LORD sitting

on 2 Chronicles 18:18-22

Micaiah's second vision shows “the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing on His right and on His left”. A spirit offers to be “a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets”. Chronicles keeps the scene nearly identical to 1 Kings 22:19-23.

Micaiah explains the vision to both kings. The agreement of the four hundred came from the lying spirit the LORD had put in their mouths. The Targum Clarke quotes at verse 33 reads Ahab's death as the fulfilment of Micaiah's prophecy and of Elijah's.
