The verse numbers here are the ones a Hebrew Bible carries, which differ from an English Bible by a verse or two in several places. How it is read

The chapter gives the curtains, the boards and the veil, and Rashi reads it as a builder reads a plan. The ten curtains serve as a roof and as a covering for the outside of the boards, hanging behind them (Rashi on Exodus 26:1:1). The curtains were sewn "together with a needle, each five separately" (Rashi on Exodus 26:3:1). He measures the second set against the first, so that the goats hair curtains of thirty cubits run a cubit further on each side than the lower ones (Rashi on Exodus 26:8:1). On the coverings above them he names a difference among the Rabbis and gives Rabbi Nehemia's opinion, that the goats hair and the skins formed two covers one above the other (Rashi on Exodus 26:14:1). The height of the tabernacle follows from the board, since a board of ten cubits standing upright sets the height at ten (Rashi on Exodus 26:16:1). The tenons cut at the foot of each board, and the hollow sockets they were fixed into, he describes from the Baraitha on the structure of the tabernacle (Rashi on Exodus 26:17:1 and 26:25:1). Because the entrance stood on the east, he calls the east the front and the west the back (Rashi on Exodus 26:22:1). The traditional insight a Christian reader is likely to find new stands on the definite article of the boards. Rashi reads it as pointing to timber already set aside. Jacob planted cedars in Egypt, and when he died he told his sons to carry them up when they left (Rashi on Exodus 26:15:1). The corpus records forty places where the Midrash and the Talmud draw on this chapter, cited here by reference. Midrash Lekach Tov follows the chapter closely at Exodus 26:3:1, 26:6:1, 26:9:1 and 26:9:2. It continues at Exodus 26:10:1, 26:10:2, 26:12:1, 26:12:2 and 26:13:1. It reads the boards and the bolts at Exodus 26:22:1, 26:23:1 and 26:26:1. Midrash Tanchuma reads the curtains at Terumah 5:1 and 6:1, and Pesikta DeRav Kahana at 1:6. Bamidbar Rabbah carries the chapter at 6:3, 12:4, 12:13, 13:19 and 18:14. The Otzar Midrashim collections read it at Forty Nine Midot 8, Sefer Tagin 5:160 and Baraita of Samuel HaKatan 1:4. The Jerusalem Talmud reads the curtains at Shabbat 7:2:44, 7:2:46 and 15:1:2, and at Peah 6:3:7. It reads the veil at Shekalim 8:2:1. Bekhorot 44a:15 reads the board, and Chagigah 26b:4 the placing of the table and the lampstand.
