From the second day the grain and drink offerings are given "according to the number prescribed", the rate fixed at Numbers 15:4-12. The chapter abbreviates because the count of animals changes daily while the rate per animal stays the same.

On the third day you are to present eleven bulls
Eleven bulls stand here, two fewer than on the first day, and by the third day the feast has used thirty-six. John Wesley says the feast was kept for seven days by offering extraordinary sacrifices each day. The days between were marked at the altar.

proposed
on the fifteenth day--was to be held the feast of booths or tabernacles. The feast was to last seven days, the first and last of which were to be kept as Sabbaths, and a particular offering was prescribed for each day, the details of which are given with a minuteness suited to the infant state of the church.
