Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron
on Numbers 2:1-2
Each man camps “under his standard, with the banners of his family”, and Israel camps “around the Tent of Meeting at a distance from it”. John Wesley reckons that distance at the two thousand cubits of Joshua 3:4.
