The tribe of Issachar will camp next to it
on Numbers 2:5-8
Issachar and Zebulun fill out the east camp, so the three tribes under Judah's standard are all sons of Leah. John Gill gives that shared house as the reason the two take their places under Judah without complaint.

Zebulun's 57,400 completes the east camp, a figure John Gill confirms against 1:31. Jacob named Zebulun and Issachar in turn at Genesis 49:13-14. Moses blessed them together at Deuteronomy 33:18, Zebulun going out and Issachar staying in his tents.
