The second covering is goat hair, eleven curtains over the ten below, and its clasps are bronze where the inner clasps were gold. So the metal grades plainer the further out it sits.

The measure carries out 26:8. Eleven curtains four cubits wide made a cloth forty-four cubits long, four more than the linen beneath. Exodus 26:12 lets the extra length hang down over the back of the tabernacle.
