on Leviticus 24:8-9
The bread is renewed every Sabbath, and Aaron and his sons eat it in a holy place. David ate this bread at Nob in 1 Samuel 21:6. Jesus argued from it at Matthew 12:3-4 that the priests were blameless when the Sabbath bent for need.
