Chapter summary
The law of the offerings for the priests. The burnt offering burns on the altar all night until morning; the fire is never put out. The meat offering — a handful burned, the rest eaten by the priests in the court. Aaron's own daily meat offering at his anointing and after: half in the morning, half at even, wholly burnt. The sin offering: where it is killed, there eaten by the priests; the blood sprinkled on a garment must be washed in the holy place; the earthen vessel that boiled its flesh broken, the brass vessel scoured. Holy vocation requires holy care.
