one’s offering is a burnt offering from the flock

on Leviticus 1:10-13

The rite runs again at a lower price. The one new detail is the place of slaughter, on the north side of the altar, which 4:24, 4:29, 4:33 and 7:2 point back to. Verse 13 closes in the words of verse 9, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

Verse 13 has the priest bring all of it to the altar, so the whole animal passes through his hands before it burns. The entrails and legs are washed for the sheep and goat as for the bull.
