The sons of Naphtali
on 1 Chronicles 7:13-19
Naphtali's entry is four sons, the descendants of Bilhah, and Henry notes that no later generations follow. Manasseh's entry names his Aramean concubine, a sister, Hammolecheth, and Zelophehad, who had only daughters. Numbers 27 and 36 had already made Zelophehad's daughters a test case for inheritance through women.

Shemida heads a clan of Manasseh in Numbers 26:32, and Joshua 17:2 lists his family among those given land west of the Jordan. Shechem here is a man's name, and Numbers 26:31 lists the Shechemites as a clan. Manasseh's record ends here.
