Chapter summary
The work proceeds — so much so that the people must be restrained: ‘the people bring much more than enough for the service of the work’. Moses proclaims: let neither man nor woman make any more offering. The curtains are made according to the pattern; the coupling loops and the taches; the ten curtains of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen with cherubim; the goats' hair covering; the rams' skins dyed red; the badgers' skins; the boards of shittim wood overlaid with gold; the bars; the sockets of silver; the veil of blue, purple, and scarlet with cherubim. The chapter follows chapter 26 word-for-word — the obedience of execution matching the commandment of instruction.
