The south side mirrors the north: chambers along the wall of the outer court, and the same length and width, “with similar exits and dimensions”. The sanctuary is ordered down to its storerooms, north answering south. The details stand in the text for the reader who wants them.

The doorway leads in from the east, beside the wall that verse 7 measured. The priests enter both blocks the same way. The south side repeats the north down to its door, so neither block has a different rule of access.
