Bezalel went on to construct the ark of acacia wood
on Exodus 37:1-2
The curtains are credited at 36:8 to all the skilled craftsmen, and the ark to Bezalel by name. John Gill passes on Jarchi's reading, that the work carries his name because he gave his mind to it beyond the rest.

The overlay carries out 25:11. Pure gold covered the acacia wood inside, where 40:20 places the tablets of the Testimony, and outside, with a gold molding around the top. Numbers 4:5 wraps it in the veil for every march.
