on Exodus 37:17-22
The lampstand is the one item of furniture given no dimensions, here or in the command at 25:31 to 39. The only quantity is a weight of gold, all of it hammered into one piece.

A bud was under the first pair
The buds carry out 25:35, one under each pair of branches. Each bud sat where a pair left the shaft, so the branches grow from the stem as from a tree.
