Then he made the lampstand out of pure hammered gold
on Exodus 37:17-22
The lampstand is the one item of furniture given no dimensions, here or in the command at 25:31 to 39. The only quantity is a weight of gold, all of it hammered into one piece.

The almond cups carry out 25:33, three on each branch. The Hebrew word for almond sounds like the word for watching, and Jeremiah 1:11-12 turns on that likeness. The lamps that burned through the night stood among almond blossoms.
