And he cast four gold rings for its four feet
on Exodus 37:3-5
Exodus 25:15 ordered that the poles must not be removed, so the ark stays fitted for shoulders even at rest. At 2 Samuel 6:3 it rides on a new cart instead, and Uzzah dies.
