Harvest thanksgiving in Zion: 'Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; and unto thee shall the vow be performed. O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.' Iniquities prevail against me; 'as for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.' The God of our salvation stills the roaring of the seas and the tumult of the peoples. Then the year crowned with goodness: the river of God full of water, the pastures clothed with flocks, the valleys covered over with grain: 'they shout for joy, they also sing.'
