The captain of the guard also took away Seraiah the chief priest
on Jeremiah 52:24-27
Judah’s leaders are taken: “Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest of second rank, and the three doorkeepers,” “seven trusted royal advisers,” and sixty men. At Riblah they are all put to death. The summary, “So Judah was taken into exile, away from its own land,” matches 2 Kings 25:21.
