When thou vowest a vow, defer not to pay it. He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; as he came forth naked shall he go again: what profit hath he that laboreth for the wind? The gift restated and deepened: to eat, to drink, to enjoy good in all one's labor 'is the gift of God: for he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.'
