Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar
on 2 Chronicles 8:12-16
Solomon offers the burnt offerings by “the daily requirement” and on the Sabbaths, New Moons and three feasts. He sets priests, Levites and gatekeepers in the order of 1 Chronicles 23-26. Only once the worship stands in order does verse 16 say “the house of the LORD was completed”.

Jamieson, Fausset and Brown take the king's command as the ordinances of David, and the treasures as those given to build and adorn the temple. Gill says the Levites who kept the treasures were faithful to their trust. He cites 1 Chronicles 26:20.
