Where the tabernacle held one lampstand and one table, the temple holds ten of each, and ten basins beside the one Sea. Verse 6 divides the work exactly: “The parts of the burnt offering were rinsed in them, but the priests used the Sea for washing”.

Clarke identifies the hundred gold bowls as paterae, sacrificial spoons used for libations. Barnes notes that the number of tables and bowls is added to what Kings records. The tables stand five to a side, like the lampstands.
