on 2 Chronicles 4:10-18
Huram finishes the whole of Solomon's bronze work: the Sea, the basins, and the pillars with their pomegranates named in chapter 3. All were cast “in clay molds in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth and Zeredah”. The inventory closes with bronze whose weight “could not be determined”.

The stands carried the ten basins of verse 6. In those basins the priests rinsed the parts of the burnt offering, and they washed themselves at the Sea. Henry reads the washing at the Sea as a picture of the blood of Christ, which cleanses from all sin.
