'Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.' Green pastures, still waters, restored soul, paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even the valley of the shadow of death holds no evil to fear: 'thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.' The scene shifts from pasture to table: a table prepared in the presence of enemies, head anointed, cup running over. 'Surely goodness and lovingkindness shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah for ever.'
