Chapter summary

Head coverings: the man the image and glory of God; the woman the glory of the man. But neither is the man without the woman, nor the woman without the man, in the Lord. Then — the Lord's Supper. Divisions at the table profane the feast. Paul repeats the institution: the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread. Let a man examine himself; he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation. Henry reads the chapter as the apostolic instruction on the proper observance of the ordinances.
