The vast whole in God's keeping; the millennium
A thousand is Scripture's round vastness held easily by God: he keeps 'covenant and lovingkindness… to a thousand generations' (Deuteronomy 7:9), owns 'the cattle upon a thousand hills' (Psalm 50:10), counts 'a thousand years in thy sight… but as yesterday' (Psalm 90:4) — 'one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day' (2 Peter 3:8). A day in his courts is better than a thousand (Psalm 84:10). And six times in Revelation 20:1-7 the span of Satan's binding and the saints' reign is 'a thousand years' — the millennium, whose three reading traditions are given at full strength on the Millennium study (MannaFest's own flag is premillennial).
