Elihu's last words, spoken with thunder building over him: 'at this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.' God thundereth marvellously with his voice, doing great things which we cannot comprehend. 'He saith to the snow, Fall thou on the earth'; by the breath of God ice is given. He asks whether Job knows how the clouds are balanced, or why his garments are warm when the earth is still by the south wind. 'Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God' (37:14). Out of the north cometh golden splendor; God hath upon him terrible majesty, and touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out.
