A psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son. Adversaries multiply and say of him, 'There is no help for him in God.' But Jehovah is a shield about him, his glory and the lifter of his head. He cried, and was answered out of the holy hill; he laid down, slept, and awaked, for Jehovah sustained him. Salvation belongeth unto Jehovah, the first morning psalm of the Psalter.
