An acrostic of patience: 'Fret not thyself because of evil-doers.' Trust in Jehovah, and do good; delight thyself also in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart; commit thy way unto him; rest, and wait patiently. A little while, and the wicked shall not be; but 'the meek shall inherit the land', the beatitude's source. The steps of a good man are established of Jehovah; though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down. 'I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken.' Mark the perfect man; the latter end of that man is peace.
