The number 6
Man, human weakness, labor, incompleteness
Man and rebellion — the numbers Scripture uses as a warning
Six is the number of man, created on the sixth day. It represents human effort, labor (six days of work), and falling short of divine perfection (7). The number 666 intensifies human rebellion against God.
