About this voice
Dr. Rob Reimer is an American pastor, author, and the founder of Renewal International — a ministry dedicated to equipping believers, pastors, and leaders for spiritual renewal and "fullness of the Holy Spirit." He serves as Professor of Pastoral Theology at Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS, New York). He earned a B.A. in English from King's College, M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary, and Doctorate in Preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His operational ecclesial home is the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) — same denominational tradition that A.W. Tozer served. Soul Care: 7 Transformational Principles for a Healthy Soul (2016) is his signature work; subsequent titles include River Dwellers (charismatic-renewal teaching). The Soul Care framework has been received with both substantial uptake (renewal-stream evangelical-pastoral contexts) and substantive critique (Reformed-evangelical reviewers including Pastoral Theology and Before You Quit publishing detailed contestations).
