Full Isa 7:14 ("Behold, a virgin shall conceive") with Matt 1:18–25 and Luke 1:26–38. Isaiah's almah (עַלְמָה) is rendered parthenos (παρθένος, virgin) in the LXX; both Gospels cite the LXX reading. The two infancy narratives together establish that Jesus is Davidic by adoption (Joseph) and Davidic by blood (Mary) — the genealogical puzzle and the virgin birth solve each other.
