A third son of Kohath, 1Ch 23:12, Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth: of the sons of Uzziel; another son of Kohath, 1Ch 23:12, Micah the first, Jesiah the second: the sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, Exo 6:19, the sons of Mahli, Eleazar and Kish: of whom see 1Ch 24:28.

Neither Hebron nor the first is found in the present Hebrew text; but they seem to have been rightly supplied by our translators from 1Ch 23:19. The four persons named appear to have been contemporaries of David, the heads of the Hebronite houses in his time (compare 1Ch 26:31).
