The Waters Held in Check
Enoch is shown the angels of punishment made ready to release "all the powers of the waters which are beneath the earth" for judgment and destruction: but the Lord of Spirits commands them not yet to let the waters rise, only to hold them in check. Enoch then departs from the presence of Enoch's own account, closing the vision before the flood itself falls.
