For lead and tin are not produced from the earth like the first: it is a fountain that produces them, and an angel stands therein, and that angel is pre-eminent.’

This verse’s chapter, studied

Noah's Cry: Why Is the Earth Shaking?

Noah sees the earth sinking toward ruin and cries out three times to his grandfather Enoch. Enoch explains that judgment has been decreed because humanity has learned "all the secrets of the angels", sorcery, witchcraft, idol-making, and metalworking, and assures Noah that he himself is "pure, and guiltless of this reproach," destined for a righteous, numberless line.
