Short bio

Vladimir ("Vlad") Savchuk (born 1986) is a Ukrainian-American Charismatic-Pentecostal pastor and the lead pastor of Hungry Generation Church (HungryGen, headquartered in Pasco, Washington / Tri-Cities region), with a multi-site presence and a global online following. He served as youth pastor of HungryGen for 14 years before being ordained senior pastor at age 30 (approximately 2016). Originally from Ukraine, Savchuk's family emigrated to the United States; his ministry retains substantial Eastern-European Pentecostal-evangelical sensibility while operating within American Charismatic stream. His ministry — Vladimir Savchuk Ministries (PastorVlad.org) and HungryGen Church (HungryGen.com) — offers all teaching resources free of charge as a matter of intentional ministry posture. His book catalog includes *Single, Ready to Mingle*, *Break Free*, *Fight Back*, *Host the Holy Ghost*, *RAW Faith*, and *Demons in the World Today*. The HungryGen YouTube channel and Savchuk's personal channels reach hundreds of thousands of subscribers.

What they believed

  • Fear of the Lord Emphasis — Affirmed; Savchuk's preaching includes substantial weight on holiness, repentance, and reverence — particularly contrasted with hyper-grace and casual-Christianity drift. Functionally aligned with Bevere; contemporary millennial-targeted articulation.
  • Cost of Following — Affirmed substantively; Savchuk's emphasis on fasting, deliverance, sexual purity, and counter-cultural discipleship assumes the cost. Eastern-European-Pentecostal heritage carries cost-awareness from the Soviet-era persecution legacy.
  • Wealth and Money — Free-resources ministry posture (most teaching, courses, books distributed free) is itself a substantive position — Savchuk distances his ministry from the prosperity-stream paid-curriculum model. Operationally aligned with the Tozer-pilgrim posture more than the Hagin-prosperity stream.
  • Cessation — Strong continuationist (classical Pentecostal-AOG stream); all gifts and offices fully operative.
  • Healing in Atonement — Healing is provided in the atonement; Savchuk's ministry includes healing prayer alongside deliverance.
  • Believer Can Be Demonized — Affirmed; believers can be oppressed/occupied in unsurrendered areas; deliverance is therefore needed not only for unbelievers but for Christians.
