Rev. Owen Murphy

Rev. Owen Murphy is an American evangelical revival historian, author, and ministry leader (CenterMark Ministries; verify current status). He is principally known for his documentation, study, and contemporary teaching of the Hebrides Revival of 1949–1952 — the Lewis-Harris (Outer Hebrides, Scotland) outpouring under the ministry of Duncan Campbell that saw 20,000+ conversions in three months from a starting point of five men praying in a barn.
