The life, in order
The life told as one accountfrom this site's record
Lou Engle (born October 9, 1952) is an American Charismatic minister and the co-founder of TheCall — a global prayer-and-fasting movement that gathered hundreds of thousands across multiple continents (Washington DC stadium events 2000–2010s, plus subsequent international gatherings). His ministry combines Nazirite consecration, sustained fasting (40-day Jesus-fast framework), prophetic intercession, and pro-life advocacy through Bound4Life. He was associated with IHOPKC's Mike Bickle for years and is networked with the broader apostolic-prophetic-NAR stream. After TheCall name was retired, he founded Lou Engle Ministries (2018) continuing the fasting-and-prayer mobilization mission. He is one of the principal contemporary popular voices on extended-fasting and pro-life-prayer-activism.
